The REF 2025 Manifesto brings together the key reflections and commitments that emerged from the meetings and dialogues held during the 5th edition of Rio Ethical Fashion.
Drawing on contributions from experts, leaders, communities, brands, educators, and public officials, the document outlines ten guiding principles to steer fashion’s just transition in Brazil — a path that integrates environmental responsibility, fair labor, traceability, innovation, and ancestral knowledge.
More than a statement, the manifesto is an invitation to take action now in building a possible future — one in which fashion recognizes itself as culture, territory, and life.
