
Mariana Ribeiro
CEO and Co-Founder at CLARICE
Mariana is an executive, impact strategist, and strategic communicator with over 10 years of experience leading social and environmental mobilization projects and campaigns. Currently, she serves as CEO at CLARICE, a studio focused on research and audiovisual productions about women challenging the status quo and redefining power. Throughout her career, Mariana worked with companies, UN agencies, philanthropies, NGOs, grassroots movements, activists, faith groups and filmmakers worldwide. She spent three years as Head of Purpose Brasil, led innovative gender initiatives like Mapa do Acolhimento and Beta Chatbot, and developed acclaimed audiovisual projects such as the documentary web series Imagina na Copa and the impact campaign for The Edge of Democracy (Netflix), which was Oscar-nominated in 2020. Mariana’s work has been recognized with awards like the Google Stories Challenge, Cannes Lion, Anthem Awards, and the Emmy Awards. She currently sits on the boards of five social organizations focused on gender, democracy, LGBTQ+ rights, civic space, and climate justice. In 2025, Mariana was selected as a Vital Voices fellow — a program founded by Hillary Clinton for women leaders — and was invited by Mary Robinson to join the global network of the Dandelion Project, focused on women leaders in climate justice.
