
Fernanda Simon
Executive Director of the Fashion Revolution Brazil Institute
Fernanda is the Executive Director of the Fashion Revolution Brazil Institute and the contributing sustainability editor at Vogue Brasil. For two years, she served on the non-executive board of Fashion Revolution Global and is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Conscious Fashion and Lifestyle Network, an initiative in partnership with the United Nations Office for Partnerships (UNOP).
Her journey in fashion and sustainability began in 2010, in England, working with pioneering initiatives in the field. In 2014, she was responsible for bringing the global Fashion Revolution movement to Brazil and initiating its efforts in the country. Since 2018, when the Fashion Revolution Brazil Institute was founded, she has served as its Executive Director. Fernanda was appointed as Vogue Brasil’s first contributing sustainability editor, a role she has held for five years.
She was one of the organizers of the book Fashion Revolution: Journeys Toward Sustainability, and for years has led numerous projects. Her work is guided by a purposeful ecofeminist vision, aligning fashion with climate, nature, and women.
