Laura Madalosso

Laura chose fashion as the place to be an agent of change — and has been walking this path for over 15 years. She worked for many years at the largest fashion retailer in Brazil and later became a partner at a pioneering vegan footwear brand made from upcycled materials. With a degree in Communication and postgraduate studies in Fashion Design and Sustainability, she has built a career that combines hands-on experience with strategic vision.
She is one of the founders of Cora Design, a certified B Corporation and strategic consultancy for sustainability in fashion. Laura supports brands, professionals, and industry institutions in transitioning toward models with lower impact — circular, fair, and ethical. At Cora, Laura leads projects in research, communication, and education for clients such as Lojas Renner S/A, Melissa, Azzas2154, C&A, and ABVTEX.
A natural facilitator, Laura believes in the power of collaboration and shared intelligence to regenerate systems and foster new business models for the fashion sector.
