
Elijane Nogueira de Vasconcelos

A native of the Amazon, she holds a law degree from the Federal University of Amazonas
and a postgraduate degree in Criminal Sciences. She is an impact entrepreneur at YANCIÃ,
a brand that incorporates craftsmanship into fashion, valuing biomaterials, ancestral
technologies, and productive arrangements from the Amazon. In November 2021, she
participated in the CORSO DI ALTA FORMAZIONE MODA E ARTIGIANATO (Fashion for the
Future Course), based in Milan, Italy. In 2023, she completed the Artvism, Revival, and
Contemporary Indigenous Art course at the Adelina Institute and was a student at the
Fashion Revolution Institute's Decolonial Fashion School and the Dom Cabral Foundation's
Leadership Development Program. In 2024, she completed the "Cultural Appropriation - How
Not to Commit" module at the Ewa Poranga School, where she now works as a teacher and
consultant.
