A Spanish national, Ms. Selfa has over 20 years fashion and retail experience to the lifestyle brand. Highly skilled in global business development, she has broad experience in the development of the retail and wholesale businesses. In July 2020 Marisa became the Chief Executive Officer of North Sails Apparel.

Ms. Selfa was previously the CEO of sustainable fashion brand Ecoalf, pioneer of apparel, footwear and accessories made of recycled materials. 

Prior to her time at Ecoalf, Ms. Selfa was CEO of National Geographic Retail, and VP North America at Retail & Consumer consultancy Marvin Traub Associates. Ms. Selfa has also held senior leadership international roles with Cortefiel (Managing Director), Timberland (VP Apparel, Accessories & Licensing), Adidas (Global Director Men & Children) and Levi Strauss (Brand Director EMEA and Regional Marketing Director-South Europe).  

Ms Selfa also holds a Masters’ degree in Marketing from ESIC Business & Marketing school.
