François-Ghislain Morillion is co-founder of VEJA (known as VERT in Brazil). After researching several companies with sustainable practices between 2002/2004, François and his partner Sebastien Koop created their own brand in 2005. VEJA is a brand of sneakers made in Brazil, based on fair trade with components made from organic and recycled materials. Veja’s sustainability proposal is global: through its products it aims to have a positive impact on society, the economy and the environment. Based in Paris, France, Veja is sold in 1800 select stores worldwide.
