Graduated in Social Communication at Casper Libero College, Marina Caruso began her career as a reporter for IstoÉ magazine, where she stayed for seven years. She was head of Veja Rio's Beira-Mar column, editor of Domingo do Jornal do Brasil magazine and Quem magazine. Thereafter, she worked for nine years at Marie Claire magazine, the last five of which were editor-in-chief. For two years she has been in charge of the magazine Ela, of Jornal O Globo.
